Wafae Owen is the Office Manager of LiveOak Ventures and manages the firm’s daily operations. Prior to LiveOak, Wafae was the Business Manager at Bloomfire, Inc., a software company. Before that, she supported C-level executives at LifeSize Communications, a videoconferencing manufacturer, and at Temple-Inland, Inc., a forest products and paper manufacturer. She also worked as the Sales Supervisor for a software company in California.
Wafae has a Masters in Business Administration from St. Edwards University. She is a Distinguished Toastmaster and has served in all Club and District offices. She is now serving, at the internation level, as a Region Advisor for eight Districts. As a former Yoga instructor, she still practices regularly to stay flexible and relaxed.
