LiveOak Gives is the charitable arm of LiveOak Ventures, supporting Texas nonprofits and the LiveOak Scholars program for college-bound high school seniors. Now in its seventh year, the program has raised $200K to support three nonprofit partners and the third cohort of LiveOak Scholars. Since its inception, LiveOak Gives has granted $1.4M to 24 nonprofits and 14 scholars.

The LiveOak Gives program targets local non-profits that focus on vulnerable populations in three key categories: children, the elderly, and families affected by poverty. This approach reflects our commitment to fostering inclusive growth in the broader community, particularly for organizations that embody the Texas spirit and resilience, and have the potential to scale their impact.

2026 Partners: Investing in Community Impact

We invite local non-profits to apply through an open application process. We received 20 applications from organizations across Texas, each focused on serving their communities in impactful ways. Following a thoughtful review, we selected three non-profits whose work aligns closely with our priorities and long-term vision for impact.

  • Seedling

Returning partner
Supports children impacted by parental incarceration through long-term, school-based mentoring, helping students stay engaged in school and build resilience over time.

  • Saint Louise House

Returning partner
Provides stable housing and long-term support for single mothers and their children, helping families move toward financial independence and long-term stability.

  • VELA

New partner
Works with families of children with disabilities to navigate healthcare and education systems, strengthening their ability to access resources and advocate for their children.

Through these grants, the LiveOak Gives program seeks to provide financial support and amplify the voices and missions of these organizations, ensuring they receive the resources and visibility needed to grow.

2026 LiveOak Scholars: Investing in What Comes Next

Now in its third year, the LiveOak Scholars program continues to support the next generation of leaders from Texas who are seeking to matriculate in STEM or business at Texas institutions. This year, we received a record 193 applications from students across Texas that fit this criteria, reflecting strong momentum behind the program. We are actively collaborating with the leaders in the portfolio to select 7 to 10 LiveOak Scholars for this cohort. We look forward to announcing them in the coming months.
