Tim is a residential real estate domain expert with extensive experience building inside and outside sales teams. At 24 years old, he was named Austin Business Journal’s #1 RE Agent and ultimately led his brokerage, The Heyl Group, to be a 4x Inc 5000 company and Austin “Best Places to Work” business. Tim has built (and sold) multiple businesses in real estate, including Mint Title and a lead conversion call center called Phone Animal. In 2019, after launching Homeward, Tim was named Inman News Innovator of the Year; and he was recognized again in December 2021, as Inman’s “Person of the Year.
